No matter who鈥檚 paying the bills, finances can be a tricky matter for UW families to navigate.
At the UW, students fund their education through a variety of means: scholarships and financial aid, student loans, family support and on- or off-campus jobs.
Please note that there are separate payment portals, one for tuition and another for housing & food.
Money & calendar
Paying for tuition
Student Fiscal Services processes online, check, wire, financial aid and scholarship payments for tuition. If you are helping your student pay for tuition, your student must submit an online to give family members to tuition billing and reminders. They can help with any parent logging access or payment transaction issues that you may have when paying tuition.
Paying for housing & food
UW housing and dining payments are made to Housing & Food Services (HFS), by credit card on the HFS Payment Page, by check (in person or by mail), or with for international students. Students living in residence halls can authorize family members to access their accounts and billing reminders through . You can also deposit funds into your student鈥檚 Husky Card to pay for dining, vending machines, parking and more.
