For 10 years, President Cauce has led the UW to provide a leading-edge student experience, conduct research and scholarship with a global impact, uphold the UW鈥檚 dedication to its public mission and infuse the entire University with a commitment to innovation.
By naming the Welcome Center for President Cauce, the UW commemorates her decades-long leadership in championing access to higher education for students from all backgrounds, experiences and perspectives 鈥� and the welcoming and respectful learning environments she inspired, promoting opportunity and innovation that benefit Washington and the world.

To the north, the tree-lined streets of University Heights hum with student life. To the west, the University District thrives as a vibrant and eclectic hub of food, art and entertainment. Here, University Book Store has long served as an intellectual cornerstone, gathering students, faculty and the wider community.
