Disparities in low birth weights in Washington state

Certain groups of immigrants tend to be healthier than people born in the U.S., with some of that health advantage potentially carrying over to the infants of foreign-born women. i-Heal (Injury-related Health Equity Across the Lifespan), a new program launching this spring, will be part of the UW鈥檚 Harborview Injury Prevention and Research Center. The UW School of Dentistry successfully retained its number five national ranking and moved up one spot internationally to 14th in the world, according to the 2017 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings. QS is a British educational organization that ranks the world鈥檚 universities. The 乱伦社区鈥檚 School of Nursing received a number of high rankings in the U.S. News & World Report鈥檚 2018 Best Graduate Schools. The magazine, which evaluated Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master鈥檚 programs nationally, ranked the UW number three nationally among schools of nursing with a Doctor of Nursing Practice program.
